comnum.rds_group_bits(blocks, *, version_b=False)#

The 104 bits of an RDS group of the four information words blocks (each with its checkword and its offset word A, B, C or C’, D; NRSC-4 Sec. 2.3, Table A.1).

Parameters:

  • blocks (list[int]) – the four 16-bit information words.

  • version_b (bool) – version B (the offset C’ in block 3).

Returns:

104 bits (uint8), the first one sent first.

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for another number of blocks.
