comnum.fir_filter(h, x)

FIR filtering with the same alignment (OptiCommPy firFilter); the taps may be real or complex.

Parameters:

• h (array_like) – the taps.

• x (array_like) – the signal.

Returns:

the filtered signal, of the length of x (complex128).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for an input that is not an array of numbers of the expected shape.
