comnum.freq_shift(x, offset_hz, fs)#

Frequency shift x[n] e^{j2πΔf n/fs}.

Parameters:

  • x (array_like) – the signal.

  • offset_hz (float) – the shift Δf (Hz).

  • fs (float) – sampling rate (Hz).

Returns:

the shifted signal (complex128).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for an input that is not an array of numbers of the expected shape.
