comnum.ccsds_marker(name)

A synchronization marker of CCSDS 131.0-B-5, Sec. 9, as octets.

Parameters:

name (str) – "asm" (1ACFFC1D, Sec. 9.3.2: uncoded, convolutional, Reed–Solomon and LDPC codes), "turbo_1_2" (034776C7272895B0, also the marker of the LDPC codes of rate 1/2 to 4/5 is "asm"), "turbo_1_3", "turbo_1_4", "turbo_1_6" (Figures 9-3 to 9-6) or "embedded" (352EF853, the embedded data stream of Sec. 9.4).

Returns:

the octets (uint8).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

ValueError – for another name.
