comnum.decimate(x, sps_in, sps_out)#

Decimate from sps_in to sps_out samples per symbol at the phase of maximum variance (OptiCommPy decimate).

Parameters:

  • x (array_like) – the signal at sps_in samples per symbol.

  • sps_in (int) – input samples per symbol.

  • sps_out (int) – output samples per symbol (a divisor of sps_in).

Returns:

the signal at sps_out samples per symbol (complex128).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for an invalid parameter or input (the message names it).
