The MODCOD field, the short-frame flag and the pilot flag of a received PLHEADER (90 symbols), by maximum likelihood over the 128 PLS codewords.

Parameters:

rx (array_like) – the 90 received symbols of the PLHEADER.

Returns:

the MODCOD, the short-frame flag and the pilot flag.

Return type:

tuple[int, bool, bool]

Raises:

ValueError – for an invalid parameter or input (the message names it).
