comnum.clock_offset#

comnum.clock_offset(x, ppm)#

The samples of a receiver whose sampling clock is off by ppm parts per million: sample m at the instant m (1 + 1e-6 ppm) of x, interpolated by the cubic Lagrange kernel, zero beyond the end (Speth et al. 1999, eqs. (12)-(13)).

Parameters:
  • x (array_like) – the samples (complex).

  • ppm (float) – the offset of the sampling period, positive for a slower clock.

Returns:

as many samples as x (complex128).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for an input that is not an array of numbers.
