comnum.convolve(h, x)#

Full linear convolution (direct for short filters, by FFT otherwise).

Parameters:

  • h (array_like) – the taps.

  • x (array_like) – the signal.

Returns:

len(h) + len(x) - 1 samples (complex128).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for an input that is not an array of numbers of the expected shape.
