comnum.derotate(x, theta, *, sign=1.0)#

Multiply every sample by e^{j·sign·θ[n]}.

Parameters:

  • x (array_like) – the signal.

  • theta (array_like) – one phase per sample (rad).

  • sign (float) – +1 to apply the corrections of the carrier recoveries, -1 to undo them.

Returns:

the rotated signal (complex128).

Return type:

numpy.ndarray

Raises:

ValueError – for an invalid parameter or input (the message names it).
